On July 11, 1890, the First Ward Hose Company of Dubois came into existence. It was later to become known as Friendship Hose Company #2. Our original building was located at West Long, Grant and State streets. After almost 80 years at that location, Friendship Hose Company moved to its current location at 12 South Main Street.

Engine 71 is a 2008 Spartan built by Precision Fire Apparatus of Camdenton, MO, and it has a 2000GPM Hale pump, 750GWT, 30 Foam.  All powered by Cummins.
